AVA Summit Thailand FAQ

  • AVA Summit Asia is a regional gathering designed to strengthen farmed animal advocacy across Asia. The event brings together advocates, researchers, funders, policymakers, and partner organizations to share knowledge, align strategies, and collaborate on solutions to reduce animal suffering and drive systemic change across the region.

  • The Summit is planned for October 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand. Final dates and venue details will be announced soon.

  • Anyone working — or aspiring to work — toward systemic change for farmed animals in Asia or alongside the region’s growing advocacy movement. This includes NGO staff, campaigners, researchers, funders, students, policy advocates, academics, communications professionals, and allied movements.

  • Yes. AVA offers Travel Award Scholarships to reduce financial barriers and strives to ensure that advocates in need can attend at least one AVA event per year. Scholarship information and applications will open closer to the event.

  • Yes. Speaker applications will open once the event dates and venue are confirmed. Advocates, researchers, and movement partners at all levels of experience are encouraged to apply.

  • Yes. Exhibitor and sponsorship opportunities will be available for mission-aligned organizations once registration opens.

  • Accommodation details and discounted hotel block information will be shared once the venue is confirmed.

  • Language support options will be determined based on attendee needs and announced closer to the event.
